Turtlebox Ranger Portable Bluetooth Speaker – River Rock
The Ranger is the go-anywhere speaker in the Turtlebox lineup, and River Rock gives it a cool blue-green look that fits right in on the boat or at the lake. Inside, a Class D digital amplifier with DSP tuning drives 2″ woofers to 105 decibels. At 2.4 pounds and about 9.5″ tall, it slips into a dry bag, cooler pocket, or console.
Water, dust, and drops don’t slow it down. It’s IP-67 rated for fresh and salt water (submersible to 3 feet for 30 minutes) and drop-, crush- and dust-proof, though the Ranger does not float, so tie it down near the water. Stainless steel tie-downs, rubber feet, and magnetic side mounts make that easy. Its 25.2 Wh lithium-ion battery is rated for 12+ hours, and the USB-C port can charge your phone.
Bluetooth 5.4 and touch controls cover play/pause, next track, and volume. Use TWS to run two Rangers as a left/right stereo pair, or Party Mode to sync as many Turtlebox Rangers, Cubs, Original Gen 3s, and Grandes as you like. See it in person at Toro Tactical in Humble, TX.
