Nighthawk Custom Double Stack 1911 Magazine, 9mm, Compact, 16 Rounds

This is the short mag in Nighthawk Custom’s double stack lineup. At 120mm it is sized for compact double stack 1911s with an officer-length grip, like the Nighthawk Double Agent, and it holds 16 rounds of 9mm.

Check your fit: Nighthawk says this 120mm mag is only compatible with the Double Agent and other compact double stack 1911s. It is not the mag for full-size Government or Commander double stack frames; for those, look at the 126mm or 140mm Nighthawk mags.

What sets it apart

• 410 stainless tube: heat-treated and tempered for strength, durability and corrosion resistance.
• Smooth feeding: the tube is tumbled and polished, and parallel feed lips present each round to the ramp at a steady angle with any brand of ammo. An integrated feed ramp helps it along.
• Locks back on empty: positive slide lock after the last round.
• Round check: load indicator holes on the sides show how full it is without weakening the tube.
• Easy to service: it comes apart for cleaning, and a solid stop prevents over-insertion.
• Marked as Nighthawk: laser-engraved Nighthawk Custom logo.

Break-in tip from Nighthawk: a new mag can feel stiff at first. Leave it fully loaded for a few days, load and unload it 15 to 20 times, then seat and drop it empty from your 1911 a few times with the slide locked back. The spring smooths out quickly.
