The Ruger American Rifle Generation II (model 46917) in 7mm PRC gives long-range hunters a lightweight, scope-ready bolt-action that handles the flat-shooting PRC cartridge without a heavy, awkward package. It wears a Gray Splatter Gen II American stock over Gun Metal Gray Cerakote metal for a clean, all-weather look.
Up front is a 20″ cold hammer-forged, medium contour barrel cut with deep spiral flutes to trim weight near the muzzle while keeping it stiff. The fast 1:8″ twist is set up for the long, heavy-for-caliber bullets the 7mm PRC is known for, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8″-24 with a factory radial port muzzle brake to help tame recoil. Ruger’s Power Bedding integral bedding block locks the receiver in place and floats the barrel.
The Marksman Adjustable trigger lets you set a crisp pull between 3 and 5 pounds. The CNC-machined stainless one-piece bolt runs a three-lug, 70° throw for plenty of room under a big scope, and the oversized bolt handle is threaded 5/16″-24 if you want a different knob. A three-position tang safety locks the bolt closed but still lets you load and unload with the safety on. A one-piece Picatinny base is installed from the factory, the low comb lines your eye up behind magnified glass, and length of pull drops from 13.75″ to 12″ by pulling the included spacer. It comes with one 3-round magazine and steel sling swivel studs.
