Canik’s METE MC9 Prime in Bullshark (model HG8328BU-N) is a micro-compact 9mm that carries small but shoots big. The Bullshark color covers the slide and polymer frame for a sandy gray, one-tone look that stands apart from the usual black carry gun.
What sets the Prime apart is its compensated barrel and slide with an integrated expansion chamber. Gas is vented upward to fight muzzle flip, so the gun stays flatter between shots without adding length past the 3.64″ barrel. Night Fision tritium sights glow front and rear for low-light carry, and the slide is cut for a Shield RMSc-footprint red dot such as the Canik ONYXc or PHANTOMc.
A flat-face aluminum trigger gives a consistent finger placement and clean press, and the textured grip holds 17+1 rounds of 9mm in a frame just 1.2″ wide. There is a Picatinny accessory rail for a light. Canik packs it with two 17-round magazines, an external magwell, three backstraps, a custom holster, magazine loader, punch and tool kit, cleaning kit and gun lock in a travel case.
