Microtech Socom RAM-LOK T/E – Frag Tan, Black Standard Edge
The Socom has been one of Microtech’s go-to folders since 1996. The RAM-LOK version gives that proven, hand-filling handle shape Microtech’s RAM-LOK lock: a spring-loaded plunger you work with a textured slider on the outside of the handle. It locks up solid, runs smoothly, and works the same in either hand.
This model (161RL-1FRTA) has a 4″ tanto (T/E) blade in Bohler M390MK steel with a black finish and a plain, standard edge. The handle is tan aluminum with Microtech’s frag-pattern texture machined in, so it holds onto your hand when things get wet or gritty. It’s a manual folder, not an OTF, and it’s built in the USA under Microtech’s limited lifetime warranty.
