The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS (model PH9119AOSCB) takes the proven 1911 platform and adds double-stack capacity with a performance-driven feature set. This full-size 9mm is finished in Coyote Brown Cerakote H-250, with a polymer grip mounted to a forged carbon steel frame and capacities of 17+1 and 20+1.

The double-stack magazine feeds a 5″ forged stainless steel, match grade bull barrel with an 11-degree crown and 1:16 twist. The added mass of the bull barrel helps you recover quickly for follow-up shots while delivering match-grade accuracy, and a two-piece full length guide rod runs underneath.

The slide is optics ready through Springfield’s Agency Optic System (AOS). AOS plates carry an integrated rear sight, so you keep proper sight alignment and an intuitive sight picture with a red dot mounted. Each Prodigy ships with a HEX Dragonfly compatible plate, and additional optic-specific plates are sold separately. Out of the box it carries a fiber optic front sight and a black serrated rear, and it comes with one 17-round and one 20-round magazine.
