The Walker’s Razor Slim Patriot electronic muffs in Flat Dark Earth give you a 23 dB NRR with a profile slim enough to stay out of the way of a rifle or shotgun stock. Two hi-gain omnidirectional microphones pick up range commands, conversation and the sounds around you. Sound-activated compression reacts in 0.02 seconds to cut gunshots and other loud noise down to a safer level.
The speakers are tuned for low noise and natural sound clarity, and a recessed volume knob keeps the setting from getting bumped. A sound-dampening composite housing with rubberized coating sits on a comfort headband with a metal wire frame, and the muffs fold compactly for your range bag. An external battery door makes swapping the two AAA batteries quick, and the audio input jack lets you plug in music or a radio. This Patriot edition comes with two US flag patches.
